For 6 years Mustang Music ran and organised the largest Shadows Club in the world called the UB Hank Guitar Club. This club produced a quarterly news mag called the Hank Marvin Echo.
The club also encouraged young guitarist with its 'Youngstars On Guitars' projects. These included a children's competition held originally at Shadsfest' 97 and after that at Bruce Welch's Shadowmania each year, plus demonstrations by young guitarist Nick Kellie and Zoe McCulloch two highly skilled guitar players.
When Nick moved on to be a student at the Guitar Institute several other young players were tried out to partner Zoe. The skills that Zoe had developed in the Youngstars Project set standards that made it difficult to match by bringing in someone new to the project, so we decided to take on the full management of Zoe. The results have been amazing and Zoe is now one of the worlds top female instrumental rock guitarists.
